Sonata 1939

Paul Hindemith's sonata 1939 for horn and piano is the song for my French horn final exam in this semester.
My teacher said this song is full of anger and bad feelings. (Unfair I guess.)
The reason is Hindemith is a German but was banished from Germany by Nazis. In 1939, He wrote this song when he was in Turkey. It is the background about this song which gives us some right ideas on playing it. There are three movements in this song. The melody and rhythm are mostly rude, especially the first and the third movement. The 20th's music, of course, the harmony is dissonant. All these reasons are why this song is not beautiful for listening.
When you play it, often times you need to play it really loud to let the listener feel the mad feelings inside, so every time you need to take a breath as deep as you can. There are some soft parts also, like sigh, letting people feel lonely.
Besides the music, the techniques in this song need to be good also.
Every time I practice this song, I feel mad. It's not because how much I "enjoy" in it or how much the music "touch" me. It's because I can't do a good job, especially the higher tones. I feel really mad about my French horn and myself.
But if you ask me: do you love music?
Although now the only thing I know is I am frustrated and feel painful. But I still love music.
Do I love French horn?
If I can play it well I will tell you the answer.
